JILLEEN

For Jilleen, music is the vehicle – God’s love is the message. At a time when many Christian Music Artists are pulled away from ministry and pushed toward “industry” obligations, Jilleen has maintained focus on her life’s mission; to be a conduit through her words and songs bringing the message of God’s love to a hurting world. Jilleen’s ministry is best exemplified through her life verse Mark 12:30 - “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.”

Whether performing before a crowd of hundreds (The Crystal Cathedral, Saddleback Church, Union Church, The American Cancer Society) or in a small country church, Jilleen’s message of hope and healing is both positive and inspirational. She is considered to be one of the major defining voices in Christian Music today. “Jilleen’s music touches the hearts of many. She was a very important part of our music ministry here at Saddleback Church. I admire her servant heart and ambition to serve God in full time music ministry,” says Rick Muchow, Magnification Pastor, Saddleback Church, Lake Forest, CA.

“People can relate to the pertinent message in my music. Sometimes we have good days. Sometimes we have bad days. It all depends upon the day! My goal is to enable the listener to experience God in their everyday circumstances, especially in the small things.”

In 2003, Jilleen felt called by God to broaden her ministry to women and now speaks on a variety of topics that have encouraged and entertained women at retreats, conferences and ministry events nationwide.

In 1997, Jilleen graduated from Concordia University, Irvine with a Bachelor's Degree in Music and in 2001, Jilleen was awarded the Concordia University Alumni Award for her contributions towards helping to fulfill The Great Commission.

During her career, Jilleen has shared the stage with CCM greats like Bryan Duncan, Al Denson and Patty Cabrera and has performed for events sponsored by The California Southern Baptist Convention and Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS). Jilleen has appeared on several local and national radio shows including the Let’s Talk Radio Show on 93.5 FM KFSG, The Worship Café on 107.9 FM KWVE, The Indie Edge Show on 99.5 FM KKLA and The Bible Broadcasting Network.

LEAH MARTENSEN

Leah Martensen has a personal secret she wants to share: God is in the business of using us to share his perfect love, despite our own imperfection...." He is calling people to come as they are and contribute to the world the best way they can. And Leah should know she is a successful Christian artist who has performed and toured for the past sixteen years.

Realizing that God is not in the business of calling only the equipped but equipping those he calls, Leah is the first to state that she is not a typical musician. "I'm not looking for fame and stardom, nor am I what ‘stardom’ is looking for”, she says. “I have a simple message and I tell my story: God is using me in spite of what I'm not. I've traveled the world telling this story.”

“People all over the world are lost”, says Leah. “God’s love endures, however – we need to keep praying, keep hoping, dreaming and loving each other, following Christ’s example.”

“When I perform, I sing with positivity, not perfection,” says Leah, who has re-worked a traditional hymn, ’Ten Thousand Angels’ into a

contemporary version for ‘Still…’

“I hope my audience will appreciate the message of my new songs and like me, be the best they can be at what God has called them to do”.

RACHANEE

Life-changing revelations can come at odd moments. For singer/songwriter Rachanee, it was during a job interview.

Unable to choose between pursuing a career in music or a career in photojournalism, her mentor and interviewer Nancy suggested she flip a coin to decide which one to focus on for a year. "But," Nancy warned Rachanee, "picking one means completely giving up the other. So if it comes up photography, you stop writing songs, you quit the band, you put away your guitar... are you ready?"

Rachanee replied, "Don't flip the coin."

And that one little decision sparked the pursuit of a dream.

Rachanee has been compared to "Michelle Branch [and] Christian artist Jennifer Knapp, [with] a voice that can sound like Natalie Merchant" (Noise, Oct. 2003). Her music has a guitar-driven folk/rock feel; her heartfelt lyrics appeal to any audience.

Though Rachanee just came on the independent music scene in 2003, she hasn't been idle. That year, she released her EP "Chosen Path," which she wrote, distributed and co-produced. In 2004 she released her first full-length LP, "Ordinary Girl." Her sophomore album, "3 am," was released this spring.

She has been featured in the Lansing (MI) State Journal, in the Noise (a Lansing, Michigan weekly newspaper), on WILX-TV 10 in Lansing, and on WXYZ Channel 7 in Detroit, MI. Songs from her 2004 release "Ordinary Girl" are being featured on College, AAA, and Christian radio stations around the country. The title track, "Ordinary Girl," debuted at #11 on KTLF in Colorado and went to #1 for three consecutive weeks on WPFF in Michigan and Wisconsin.

"Here with Me" from Rachanee's debut album "Ordinary Girl" was named Best Contemporary Christian Song for the 2006 Independent Music Awards. Another song from her debut album, "From Here," placed second in the 2006 Great Lakes Songwriting Contest.

Rachanee is comfortable in any venue, having played in various bookstores, churches, clubs, bars and coffeehouses around the country. Touring constantly to support her two releases, she plays live either solo or as part of a duo, with her husband on percussion.

She has appeared on ("Tuesdays with Morrie" author) Mitch Albom's nationally syndicated radio program. She has also opened for national acts such as Warren Barfield, former Caedmon's Call member Derek Webb, Paul Wright, and Brian VanderArk of the Verve Pipe.

BETH CHAMPION MASON

Somewhere between Nashville and Virginia, driving through the mountains of North Carolina one October day, Beth Champion Mason was struck by the picture-perfect view of autumn colors against an azure-blue sky, and through that beauty God sent a simple message:  “I love you.”  In that moment, the song “Postcards” was born.  It was a moment of clarity and peace, a moment when God was very present.  And it was just another stop along a winding journey for Beth.

“I decided to call the new CD Postcards because a postcard tells a little blurb about a certain point along a journey, but it doesn’t tell the whole story,”  Beth explains.  “To me, these songs are like that – each one describes a point along my journey, but none of them tells the whole story about me or my faith.  Every song is just a snapshot.  But it seems to me that in life, if you look hard enough, during every point on your journey you can see the ways that God is trying to say, ‘I love you.’”

Beth’s journey has definitely been a winding one.  Born and raised in Southeastern Virginia, Beth loved to sing from a very young age, started playing piano at age 7, and wrote her first song at age 12.  She had dreams of a singing career early on, but as she got a little older, Beth was sidetracked from her dreams and dragged down into a life of alcohol and drug abuse.  She turned her back on the faith her parents tried to instill in her, and instead tried everything the world had to offer.  Even while on this detour, Beth knew that God was the path she was seeking – yet she convinced herself that she had ventured too far for God to still love her.  She was wrong.

God miraculously opened Beth’s eyes to His redeeming love, and gave her the second chance she so desperately needed, delivering her from the addiction that had gripped her life.  But even though Beth was deeply grateful for God’s redemption, she thought that she had waited too long to pursue a music career.  Besides, trying to make it as a professional musician was just not practical.  Instead, she went to college, got a sensible degree, entered the business world, and put her music dreams away indefinitely.  But Someone had other plans.

A few years later while deep in prayer, Beth felt the unmistakable call of God to dedicate her life to music ministry.  Although she was not involved in music ministry at the time—and she wasn’t sure what form “music ministry” would take—she made a promise to God that if He would open the doors, she would walk through them.  A short two weeks later, Beth received an unexpected phone call from the pastor at her church:  the music minister had suddenly quit and the church was in need of an interim music director.  Knowing that this was the first door the Lord was opening, she accepted.  That interim position turned into a nearly two-year assignment.  During that time, her purpose began to crystallize into a more clear vision.  She began writing songs again, this time focusing them on encouraging other believers and expressing her own fears and joys in light of her relationship with God.

The Lord eventually led Beth to another church, where today she is the worship leader, and He started opening up doors for her to perform her songs in her local area.  As she began sharing her music, more and more people started asking for recordings of her songs, so she finally decided it was time to record a CD.  Though she never expected the CD to be much more than a local offering, her debut album All I Have, released in 2002, went on to receive international recognition in various competitions. Encouraged by the success of that CD, Beth went on to record her sophomore album, Postcards, which has been released regionally in Spring 2005.  It will be released nationally in late summer 2005.

Beth now performs up and down the East Coast and beyond, including concerts, festival events, guest worship leading, coffeehouse concerts, and numerous other events—an average of 100 events per year.  Though she has shared the stage with national artists such as FFH, she also loves to perform in intimate settings where she can get to know the people in her audience and really minister through the music.

It’s true that the Lord sometimes works in mysterious ways.  Though we would prefer a direct route to our goals, He often chooses a winding path to lead us exactly where He wants us to be.  And maybe it’s better that way.  The scenic route usually has a much more interesting view.  Beth Champion Mason is a songwriter and artist who is open to the Lord’s leading—no matter how mysterious—and winding—His ways might be.

BREE NOBLE

In January 2007, Bree Noble was named Best Female Performer at the Inland Empire Music Awards in Southern California. She was also a finalist in the 2007 En Sound Gospel Music Awards in two categories:Contemporary Female Artist and Christian Contemporary Album. Her powerful vocals and commanding stage presence have captured audiences at large venues such as Saddleback Church and The Coach House. In July 2006 Bree was honored to perform the national anthem in front of a sold out crowd at Dodger Stadium. Those who have heard her will tell you that she has the unusual ability to sing anything from Pop/Rock to Opera. Whether she’s performing her signature lyric-driven pop/rock or leading a congregation in a familiar worship chorus or hymn, Bree’s vocals communicate deep emotion.

Bree likes to think of herself not as a Christian songwriter, but as a songwriter who is a Christian. She writes about specific aspects of her own Christian walk, but she also writes about problems that are universal like greed, homelessness, racism, and family situations. And then there are those special songs that are her most personal, that convey her heart, not just as a woman of faith but as an individual who has learned to overcome great adversity. Bree has Glaucoma and has been legally blind since birth. With songs such as “Running” and “You Are My Vision” she unveils her most intimate feelings about growing up with a disability and how it has affected her life and her relationship with God.

In 2006 Bree began presenting “You Are My Vision”, a narrative and musical journey through her life growing up visually impaired, for events including MOPS (Mothers Of Pre Schoolers), Christian Women’s Club, women’s retreats, worship services and community groups. With this presentation, Bree strives to inspire and encourage audiences to trust God in all things and to lean on Him in times of struggle. “After the surgery on my right eye at age 17 had ended disastrously, the left eye was all I had left. In my 20s I started to battle a new eye problem, a massive cataract had developed in my left eye. After all the surgeries I’d had as a baby, scar tissue had built up and over time massed into a cataract. This was another good chance for me to put my trust in God. I developed double vision when in bright sun which meant it was hard to tell where the sidewalk ended. It also made it impossible to see when going from sunlight to a darker setting. It was like walking into a pitch black movie theatre when just walking into any building from outside. I remember praying a lot as I stepped over the threshold that God would guide me around any objects or people I couldn’t see. The experience was like being in free fall, suddenly isolated and alone with only God (or my husband) to take my hand and show me the way. It’s amazing how God takes the bad and turns it into something so incredibly good, so unfathomable. I could never have orchestrated things to work out as they did. His timing is perfect. This cataract that was such a burden led me to a great new job, and a dear friend who donated a top notch surgery to remove the cataract and give me a whole new lens.
The story is amazing…”

SHELLY WILSON

Growing up in a small town with big dreams was all this ordinary girl could think about. Spending most Saturday nights behind a shut bedroom door singing into an old Coke bottle to Barbara Mandrell and the Mandrell Sister’s was a regular occurrence. It would infuriate me to hear my family clapping outside the door and interrupting my own personal moment. Growing up in a local church I suffered terrible stage fright to the point that when my mouth opened, NOTHING came out. But, oh, how I wanted to sing. For as long as I can remember, this was my heart’s desire. A few months after my baby boy was born, I began having difficulty breathing, fatigue, and really weird moments of unusual feelings. One day I just couldn’t get out of bed. I had no strength left. Several physicians later there were no answers except anxiety, panic attacks and soon came depression from the lack of findings. From days of not being able to function to nights of complete insomnia I was exhausted. All the medications intensified the symptoms and I began having horrible nightmares. Fear consumed my every moment. I could not make decisions anymore and I was totally not myself.

My last two years have been full of trials, doubts, and very unusual moments. But, oh, what I was missing. The album was God’s plan, and trust me; He put it all together from beginning to end. The song “In the Midst”-which became the Album title- I wrote during a prayer walk. Maybe you should know I don’t read music, write music, or play an instrument. Every word, every melody, was in my head when I finished the walk-- delivered by God Himself.

Anxiety and panic attacks were how God got my attention. I am a little (for those of you who actually know me you will say a WHOLE lot) obsessive-compulsive in nature, which at times is overwhelming. Funny thought, God must have known one day that He would use that trait for His advantage. After all, He did create my passions, my characteristics, and me. Many times we must be broken in order to serve Him, for it is in our desperate times that we turn to our Savior with humility. I will not tell you life is always easy now, as I still struggle, but the difference is I have hope in Jesus. I live for Him now and I sing for Him now. He fills me with joy and gives me a purpose. One of my favorite scriptures is Proverbs 3:5-6 “ Trust in the Lord with all your heart and not your own judgments, always let Him lead you and He will clear a path for you to follow.”

Trust me!---I am an unworthy sinner saved only by His grace. I am an insecure individual with many blessings I do not deserve. But several things for you to keep in mind that I have learned through my personal trials are these: “He will never leave you comfortless, he will come to you.” (John 14:18) and “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13). You can know Him as I have come to know Him, but you must seek Him. Do not rely on everyone else when it comes to learning about our Lord! Open your Bible and read about Him yourself. That is where you will find all He has for you. He will reveal miraculous things about Himself to you. He is one big adventure. He is an absolute blast and has a fantastic sense of humor. He is REAL!! Pray faithfully and honestly and He will show you amazing things.

If you do not know Jesus, or have turned away in disbelief, I pray you will seek the truth. The death Jesus endured on the cross was a debt he paid for us all, not just a chosen few. You may think you have done too much wrong. Listen, Jesus was the only perfect One in the entire world. You can’t work or buy your way into heaven, and no amount of good deeds will get you there, if you do not accept Jesus as your personal Savior. My friends----it is so very simple. Faith alone in Christ alone is all he asks, so repent of your sins and accept the free gift he has given you. Giving up the sinful nature is not a means to salvation; it is a result of salvation. Do not let anyone mislead you: Jesus takes you just as you are and He will help you change.

“ For I cannot help but speak what I have seen and heard.” - (Acts 4:20)

TRICIA ZODY

Tricia is a multifaceted woman of passionate faith and contagious enthusiasm for both the Lord and life. As a student of God’s Word, Tricia depends on the Bible as a necessity for living. As a wife to Brian, and a mother of three children, she daily strives to weave scripture-based truths and principles into the fabric of her home. As a worship leader, Tricia expresses a passionate and energetic style of worship. Her delivery is honest and real, bridging the gap of generations of worshipers. As a songwriter, Tricia creatively exposes the goodness of Jesus Christ through her lyrics and honors Him with timeless truths. Her music delivers topics illustrating obedience to His call and a hunger to share the Good News with those who seek Him.

Of her writing process, Tricia says: “When I began writing, I felt so exposed to the world because some of the songs were birthed out of pain and sorrow, sin and repentance, and the anguish of the soul. But I soon came to realize that even if people had different life experiences and circumstances than I have had, everyone has had to deal with the gamut of emotions that life has thrown at them. The Lord showed me that this is why writing these songs for others to hear is important – it is an avenue of identification, expression, as well as healing. Many of the songs on my first album are songs of praise – a direct result of what God can do when we run to Him, even in the hard times! You may recognize the voice of the Psalmist, David, in some of them. That’s because I can so identify with the man who loved God with all his heart, yet doubted himself and his faith from time to time. In the end, David places himself in the hands of the only One who could save and heal him – Father God. Personally, I have experienced the unconditional grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ. I have seen the work of His hands in the midst of unbearable circumstances. I am undone by His amazing, abundant love. It is my privilege to be a vessel in which to impart the Good News: that God sent His Son, Jesus, to free us from sin, to make us worthy before God, to live eternally with Him, and to live an abundant life in the midst of a fallen world. He stands ready with arms outstretched for all that would fall at His feet. This is the passion of my heart.

Tricia has just released her first, and long awaited, self-titled album. All original songs, this album is an eclectic mix that reflects Tricia’s love for many genres of music. In it you will find the catchy worship tune "You Are”, which was selected by Worshiper Magazine for the second Volume of ACCESS, which is a music sample compilation CD bound into The Worshiper magazine. Tricia’s love for gospel music is also represented on her new album with “Coming Closer” and “Lift Him Up”. In the touching song “Fly”, she expresses her heart for her daughter, and other young women, to find freedom in knowing who she is in Christ. Several worship songs well-up deep emotion and desire for God. They are an obvious demonstration of Tricia’s heart for worship and an excellent completion of this album.

ROSANNA FIORAZO

Rosanna started off her tour in Wisconsin, then California, and the rest is being played out as you read this...as God orchestrates. Looking back at the start of her “Grace Journey” tour in 2004, Rosanna won the “Best New Music” award from the FISH Radio station in Los Angeles. That unexpected blessing opened up the door for her to perform at a Southern California festival between Crystal Lewis and Jeremy Camp! This momentum also helped peak the interest of radio stations all over the country, and since then she’s played in well over 100 U.S. cities and a trip to Canada. One difference in Rosanna’s new music on “haven’t you heard...” is the sense of joy and the hope of heaven. The title song comes from Isaiah 40:28 - “Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary and His understanding no one can fathom.” Her desire is to lead people to Jesus Christ, the Savior. This is a new season in her life and the adventure in faith continues...

In the early 90’s, Rosanna moved to Los Angeles, California, and became the backup vocalist for Toto’s lead singer, Bobby Kimball. She was also one of the co-writers, including Bobby Kimball, for the song, “Staring in the Face of Love.” She has shared the stage with Paul Shaffer, Steve Lukather (Toto), Bobby LaKind (The Doobie Brothers); and later performed with Kim Hill and Andre Crouch. She became a born-again Christian in 1996, started writing new music, and began leading worship for home Bible studies and various ministries. She has also assisted in counseling homeless teens and distributing food for Covenant House in Hollywood, CA.

Rosanna attended Christian Assembly in Eagle Rock, CA for four years and sang on the church’s worship team led by Tommy Walker of Integrity Music. She currently leads worship for various churches, coffee houses and evangelical outreaches. Rosanna is married to “the love of her life,” Dave, formerly of Iron Mountain, Michigan, who does her booking, managing, and often plays drums with her band. They relocated from Los Angeles, California to Appleton, Wisconsin.

From major Festivals to Women’s retreats to Christian Coffee Houses, Rosanna feels her purpose is to sing and write songs that the Lord has given her, hoping that HE will heal the brokenhearted and people will be set free (Isa.42:6 -8 & 61:1) Rosanna prays that those who don’t know Jesus will be introduced to His grace and mercy through her songs. What does Rosanna have to say about worship? “God doesn’t need our worship, but He deserves it and instructs us to worship Him. As we do, whether in song, prayer, or in action, it changes us – the worshipers. It’s important that as we worship Him we don’t get in the way. If someone walks away from one of my concerts thinking about me, I haven’t done my job."

KERRI CROCKER

What is Kerri's purpose in ministry? to share the Good News of Christ to the broken, the sick and the discouraged. Simply entertaining people doesn't accomplish this task for it is only achieved through the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit. Kerri is a vessel. Nothing without Him, but EVERYTHING with Him.

Has God ever whispered into your heart and in one night, changed the direction of your life?

Kerri was blessed to have this God-moment just one year ago and has been in awe of the road He set her on. You see, that night God stirred up the excitement deep within her soul to simply be a servant for Him. He called her to be a songwriter and musicianary to the broken, the sick and the discouraged.

With that new direction, Kerri independently released her first CD entitled 'Shine' in October of 2005. With an eye not quite seeing through God's glasses, she bought the first batch of CD's, just trusting He knew what He was doing. But soon after word got out and ears began to perk up to her music, the picture started to look a bit clearer. People were getting it... they were being healed, saved and shining for Him!

The first track entitled 'I Wanna Live' is a direct reflection on Kerri's view of life and her prayer for the body... for us all to taste of the fruit that God has promised and to be granted the time to grow old to see the fullness of Christ. Many children are taken from this world without the chance to grow old. It is her passion to pray for a cure for diseases like cancer that rob the young of this blessing from God. Every event she speaks or sings at, she brings awareness that we can do something about this dreadful disease... pray for a cure!

Track after track there is a different message for different people going through different situations, but they all point to the same answer. The same Savior.

People are openly receiving the message brought by this humble and energetic Texan.

From performing live on radio stations to television programs, Kerri has embraced this opportunity to be a light for Christ. She goes where the Lord leads... inside the church walls and out!

Matthew 5:14-16 says 'you are like a city on a hill- shining in the night for all to see, so that your good deeds will be known and your Father in heaven will be glorified.'

Let that scripture grab hold of your heart and YOU shine for Him!

ALLISON LYNN

Allison Lynn is an eclectic artist with a heart for
ministry. Her desire is to deliver a message of God's comfort and peace, drawing non-believers to Christ, and encouraging life-long Christians to re-discover their Lord!

TARA JACKSON

“Tara has a genuine heart for ministering to the church and an exceptional voice for just such a purpose,” is how Camp Kirkland describes Tara Jackson.

Born in Louisville, Kentucky, and raised just outside of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Tara grew up in a ministry oriented family. With both of her parents actively involved in the church music ministry, Tara was raised with not only a love for music, but a love for the Lord. At a young age, she began singing duets with her mother, and became actively involved in the children’s choir. During her childhood, God used these experiences and other defining moments to plant a desire in her heart to deliver His message through music.

Throughout high school, being a part of state and national choral programs, along with involvement in an organization ministering to students about abstinence and dating, Tara began to clearly see the path God was beginning to define for her future ministry. However, the passion she feels for her ministry today became deeply rooted in her college years at Appalachian State University, where she took a position in the music ministry at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Boone, North Carolina.

One of her most memorable experiences while at Appalachian State University came through singing and ministering at Hebron Colony, a Christian recovery center for alcohol and drug addiction. Here, God used her voice to minister to the hearts of the program participants.

More recently, Tara has become involved with The Bridge Ministry in Nashville, TN. This ministry was founded in 2004 by Candy Christmas to reach out to the homeless and low-income population of Nashville and the greater metro area. At least twice a week, Tara faithfully sings with Candy and other local gospel artists for the Bridge Ministry. “Every week we encounter new people who have never been told that Jesus loves them and that we love them. Each and every week, I am amazed at how God moves among the forgotten people of our community, and changes lives right in front of our eyes.” Tara's love for the Lord and her desire to see people's lives changed by God exceeds even her vocal talent.

Tara aspires to make music that will reach to the heart of every individual, to see people’s lives changed by the power of God. She says, “I am committed to sharing Christ, and living my life as a testimony of how greatly God can use His children to share His love.”
